Instagram has shipped several URL shapes for Reels over the years. The current ones and the older ones both work.

One thing worth saying plainly: a licensed music track stays licensed after you save it. Keeping a Reel for yourself is ordinary personal use, but re-uploading it — especially to a monetised account — is a copyright question, and saving it here does not change that.

Reels are saved at the best quality Instagram provides, which is typically 720p HD. The audio is included in the MP4 file.

Do saved Reels include the original audio?

Yes. The full audio track — whether it's music, voiceover, or ambient sound — is preserved in the downloaded file.

Can I save Reels that use trending audio?

As long as the Reel is publicly accessible, InstaFD can save it regardless of what audio is used.

Is there a limit to how many Reels I can save?

Why can't I save a specific Reel?

The Reel may be from a private account, or the creator may have restricted sharing. Only publicly accessible Reels can be saved.
